Manuel MEYER, Canyoning Guide & Mountain Leader

I am an independent professional, deeply passionate about outdoor sports. From a young age, I have explored the mountains of the Alps and beyond, seeking adventure and discovery through trekking, canyoning, climbing, skiing, and more. The mountains, in all their forms, have always been my playground!

Driven by this passion, I decided to turn it into my career, alongside my studies in territorial planning. In 2009, I earned my Mountain Leader certification, followed in 2012 by the DEJEPS Canyoning qualification. I am proud to be part of the legendary "mythical class" of the first French State Canyoning Diploma, a pioneering program dedicated to the sport.

Based in the charming village of Puy-Saint-Eusèbe, perched above Serre-Ponçon Lake between Embrun and Savines in the Hautes-Alpes, I live my dream year-round as a guide. In winter, I lead snowshoe treks and multi-day trips. During the shoulder seasons, I guide school groups and individuals on hikes, and in the warmer months, I take you canyoning in the stunning landscapes of the region.

Working with diverse groups has honed my teaching skills, safety awareness, and—of course—my sense of humor and enthusiasm, ensuring your adventures are unforgettable!

It is with great pleasure that I will guide you through the breathtaking canyons of the Hautes-Alpes and beyond, in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

In addition to daily canyoning trips in Serre-Ponçon and the Hautes-Alpes, I also offer autonomy training courses in canyoning, as well as canyoning trips across France and abroad (French Riviera, Ticino, Corsica, etc.).

During peak seasons, I may collaborate with other carefully selected guides, chosen for their expertise and teaching skills.
